ON-SITE BUSH CAMPING

Burrandowan has a fantastic bush camping area located within easy walking distance to the track facilities & race day action. Facilities include flushing toilets and both men's and women's hot showers. Please note, water supplied is non-potable water. We suggest you bring a supply of suitable drinking water.

 

Please note there are no powered sites available.

• camping is $10/person/night - Saturday night camping is free of charge

• camping fees (CASH only | no eftpos available on site) will be collected on the day of your arrival

• All size vans can be accommodated

• 2 site locations available - first in, best dressed | Bookings are encouraged

 

The camping grounds open on the Thursday before the race [9th May 2024].  There are two sites available - one site located on the grounds and the second within easy walking distance - directly across the road from the main camping grounds. Camp sites will be individually marked out, so please select a suitably sized site and stay within the marked boundaries.

Our sites range from small tent size camps up to large van sites. Some sites will require vans to be reversed into.

​

From Thursday onwards, campers may arrive and select their own site. First in, best dressed.

​

Thursday to Saturday there will be camping attendants to assist site selection, as the grounds can become congested.

​

Camping cost = $10 per night per person [no concessions], Under 18 free

Saturday night camping is free of charge

Race Day entry tickets are $25.00 (18+ only) and are to be purchased via RACE DAY TICKETS

Closest 'dump' points are Chinchilla, Kingaroy and Jandowae. Unfortunately, there are no dump points at Burrandowan.
